A JOB WORTH DOING, IS WORTH DOING WELL

Several times I have this challenge with some people about giving their best when rendering a service. The attitude some of them displayed is so appalling to such an extent you can't but wonder what sort of human beings they are. No commitment to the job, no creativity involved and no consciousness of service delivery. The moment they got the job and money exchanged, they either disappeared or do things with poor results.

These attitudes are mostly common among people with handiwork and sellers. If they have not got the job from you or indicate interest for their products, they will be at your heels. They won't mind sleeping at your gate as long as they get what they want. But the moment the deal is made they disappear.

I agrees that we are all humans with different limitations. And our characters are not the same. But nature demands that when two persons are involved in a deal each party should try to live to expectations.

Whether you are an artisan or a civil servant or a business person, as long as you have agreed to a deal it is highly necessary to render such service and to render it well.

A service well rendered has many benefits, such as:
1. Possibility of getting another deal next time.
2. Job connection and recommendation.
3. Professional satisfaction
4. Job or sales improvement.

The primary reasons many of us here in third world countries are failing in terms of development is mainly due to our behaviour towards services and production. We believe in cutting corners. We just want to get the money but what happen after is not relevant.

The beauty of doing a good job or selling good products is that it  endeared you to success. It create rooms for you to progress in order to achieve your life goals.

So when next you get that contract or you have something to sell, try your best to deliver satisfactorily. Because a job worth doing, is worth doing well.
